Kristobal del Diego

Kristobal del Diego was a vampire and the commander of the Kargat in the Grim Fastness in Il Aluk. He was drained of much of his undead power by Death as punishment for disobeying him.[1]

Kristobal was a horticulturalist living in Rivalis before he was assaulted by an unknown female vampire and turned into one of her kind in a rose garden.[1] Perhaps due to this event, Kristobal has an unusual and ironic vulnerability to the (to him) hypnotic smell of roses.[2] Moira Debrie knew of this vulnerability and schemed to exploit it in exacting her revenge against him for refusing her a promotion.[3] However, Diego is unaffected by garlic.[2]
