Kayla Unger

Kayla Unger is the widow of Klaus Unger, a cobbler residing in Delmunster at the time of the Falling Star of 737 BC. Klaus were replaced by a doppelganger plant podling controlled by the Doppelganger Plant of Delmunster. Kayla saw her husband wither away to nothing but a husk before he was buried in the Delmunster Cemetery. Kayla has yet to become a podling, but she has locked herself away in her home. She knows an evil is taking over the town, but not what. She has become paranoid against all except for her friends Myrna Wulch and Stella Lumpenstein. (Ironically, both are podlings themselves[1]
Solomon Wulch sent away Kayla's horses such that she is stranded in town.[1] Kayla's fate following the decimation of the town is unknown.
