Karl von Salzburg

Karl von Salzburg is the creator of the flesh golem, Angelique. He resides in Fortuna.

Background

Karl and Angelique were a happy married couple until tragedy struck: Angelique was ran over and killed by a carriage. Although a skilled surgeon, Karl failed to revive her on the operating table. Sanity eroded, Karl decided he needed replacement body parts for her, though this was a job no grave robbery could solve. Instead he stalked and murdered five other women, taking their parts and constructing a new body with which to revive his beloved (her head has survived undamaged.) The labor drained both his body and his mind, and he fell into a diseased coma that lasted for two days. During this time, Angelique awakened distraght with no idea of her identity. She ran off, eventually resurfacing in Lelone, though Karl knows not.
