Irronauchs

Irronauchs is an NPC from the 2nd Edition module Dark Harvest.

In Dark Harvest

In the module, he is the unofficial leader of Introsia. He recruits the player characters to aid the town of Introsia by recapturing a wagon full of seeds and other emergency supplies stolen by some ettercaps. After the player characters seemingly slay the offending ettercaps and retrieve the seeds, Irronauchs and the other villagers are later slain in a retaliatory strike by the ettercaps' kindred. Irronauchs is later impersonated by a shadowmorph in the service of The Ghost Dancer in the nightmare of one of the player characters.

History

Once a stalwart knight in the service of a noble lord of some unnamed land, Irronauchs was an elderly dwarf, physically enfeebled by his age. He was a retired fighter and was the unofficcial leader of Introsia. He and the other inhabitants of the hamlet perished in the aforementioned ettercap attack.

Irronauchs formerly carried a a magical warhammer, which he may have given to the player characters for retrieving the stolen emergency supplies.
