Horrid Wilting is an arcane spell that harms and kills creatures in its area of effect by evaporating the water inside their bodies. As such, it is especially effective against plants and water elementals.
Living Creatures slain by horrid wilting within the Demiplane of Dread must make a Fortitude Save or rise again as Ancient Dead determined to bring the demise of the spellcaster that killed them. Casting horrid wilting is an act worthy of a Powers Check[1][2][3].
