Roman Olzanik

Using the stage name, The Geek, Roman Olzanik is a member of Carnival. Thanks to The Twisting, Roman appears to be much like a living ghoul, but he was cursed long before he joined Carnival. Roman Olzanik is immune to any ingested poison, but he can only survive on racid and rotting food.

Background

The son of minor Borcan nobility, Roman found his life drastically altered after he let a peasant girl freeze in the cold Borcan winter and her family starve. He found he was cursed to derive no sustenance from food, save that was in a foul or disgusting condition. Now reviled as loathsome by his relatives, Roman was cast out, after which he joined the passing Carnival. The Twisting warped his appearance, further rendering his disgust to others. Roman has attempted to repent his ways by eschewing his openly cruel behavior, but Roman has not truly changed. throwing in with Professor Pacali's conspiracy to destroy Isolde, a matter to which Roman considers a matter of cosmic justice in destroying what he perceives to be a demon. Only when she is destroyed does he believe that the powers that be will release him from his curse.

The Twisting has given Roman a nasty bite, to which he can inflict a nasty disease.
