Dream-Self

Every dreamer is connected to the first two Levels of Reality (dreams and dreamscapes) by a mental representation of the self known as a dream-self. These dreamselves serve as conduits for interaction with dreams and nightmares. If the Dream-Self is slain, the person normally just wakes up, but in especially vivid dreams and nightmares or in dreamscapes, there might be longer lasting mental consequences. In the world of dreams, a person's physical Ability Scores are represented by their mental ability scores.[1]
