Dragon Bait
Dragon Bait is an outlander adventurer and a friend and companion to Artus Cimber, having met each other in the outlander land of Chult (of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting). Dragon Bait is also a saurial, a race of reptilian humanoids from a world where dinosaurs evolved instead of mammals. As a saurial, Dragon Bait are not able to speak in sound frequencies audible to humans, but he can emit smells that stand for different emotions and contexts.[1]
Dragon Bait is a paragon of Good, having both paladin-like disposition and abilities, including the ability to wield his holy avenger.[1]
History
Artus and Dragon Bait became trapped in the Shadowfell domain known as the Bakumora while adventuring to find the lost Chultan city of Mezro. When Kayebo Village was attacked by poison dusk lizardfolk, Artus used his Ring of Winter to defend the village. However, the twisted magic of the Bakumora caused a backlash, literally freezing Artus and Dragon Bait in suspended animation. Freeing them will require freeing the Bakumora from the Shadowfell.[2]
