Dirk Drake

The son of a minor offshoot of the Rivtoffs of Nova Vaasa, Dirk sought to become a great adventurer, knight, and monster hunter. Several months after he wiped out many members of a vampire cult and returned home, Dirk and his family were targeted by the cultists and vampires for vengeance. Many were massacred, and Dirk was driven mad. He finished off the survivors out of fear of them joining the ranks of the undead. Dirk travels the Southern Core pursuing the remnants of the cult. At the same time, he suffers a curse: his paranoia leads him to murder any who attempt to get close to him
