Dermont

Dermont is an outlander doppelganger with some magical aptitude. His outlander memories were washed away by the Darkonian memory distortion phenomenon. He eventually became a member of the Kargat and works for the Ermenus cell. Dermont highly enjoys using his abilities of deception to foster confusion and discord. In particular, he has taken on the guise of several bandit leaders and lead various gangs in order to create scapegoats for Kargat activities. He ultimately betrays any gangs he becomes involved in, turning them over to Constable Qeron Opeir. Currently taking on the alias of Kerment, Dermont leads the Charred Raiders, with Caleb the Baker, a fellow Kargat agent, as his second in command.

Dermont's deceptions have not gone with out cost. His various guises seem to be insinuating themselves into his mind. First this was minor mannerisms and behaviors, then voices in his head. The palm of hand has been marked by a scar from a previous identity as a sorcerous sister of a bandit whom was also a previous guise. The sister screams to Dermont to avenge her equally fictional brother's deaths on the baronial guard.
