Daniel (Paladin)

Daniel was a paladin and holy crusader born of commoner origins. Despite his humble origins, his purity, tenacity, and skill overshadowed another would-be holy warrior, Count Yvern. Count Yvern became jealous of all the glory Daniel received and eventually turned to the dark side in disgust. After a protracted war with each other, Count Yvern and Daniel met personally on the battlefield. Daniel won the duel between them, but just before Daniel was going to strike his final blow, an arrow hit him in the back and slew him.
