Forged from the events of one man's greed and obsesion to end the war, the land and its people are now forced to relive the twenty-eight days prior to the cataclysm, no matter how they try and stop it.

Now the population try and eke out what existance they can in their twenty-eight days and have abandoned much of the magical devices constructed by House Cannith in disgust for their fate, leaving it to fall into ruin.

Starrin d'Cannith, the patriarch of House Cannith, nickamed "the Gorgon" is the darklord of his temporal annomalous domain, due to his actions in creating the cataclysm known as the Mourning.
