Claude Lesat is an alchemist who turned himself into a vampire mostly out of curiosity. The same dread curiosity led him to try to create a half-elf dhampir by seducing an elven herbalist. The child he sired was Mary Lesat, who currently acts as an assassin to protect her father and his vampiric brood.[1]
