Along with his associate, Ilsa Tempiere, Charles Tempiere is a member of the immortal-hunting Cult of Light. Though Charles and Ilsa claim to be siblings and may seem close enough to be married, they have no relation of either sort, but instead their relationship is one of fellow religious devotees. Charles and Ilsa attened the private auction at Eldron Manor in order to discover what the hated immortal known as the Evil One looks like[1]
