Is a residence a lair and vice versa? Is Adam's Lair a residence? Or would it be a hideout? Does a residence require a public face, so to speak? What about Monette's lighthouse?Cure 11:51, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Based on wiktionary, I'd say a residence is any place someone lives, public or private. A lair is specifically a hidden residence. So all lairs are residences. Adam's Lair is (surprise!) a lair. Monette's lighthouse is probably too prominent to be a lair. Lighthouses by definition are not hidden. -- Gonzoron 16:21, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
