A quell is an incorporeal undead that particularly despise priests and others who serve the gods. Queells can temporarily cut off divine spellcasters from their deities, preventing them from turning undead and casting divine spells. A quell can be visibly distinguished by the runes flying around its head and the folds that hang off of it, either a robe or dangling ectoplasm.^[1]
