The foul rat is a type of rat that is larger than normal giant rats and has an intelligence equivalent to a dim human. Sinister but cowardly, they are very adept at coordinating attacks and ambushes of both their direct kindred and the lesser rats that follow them. The bite of a foul rat contains any number of ultimately fatal diseases. One of these can be cured by Callum's Gift Berries. Note that the foul rat was never updated to 3rd Edition. Thus, any creature types below are speculative.^[1]
