The Czega Family was a family of outlanders with noble heritage that dabbled in necromancy. They created the original Radiant Tower and Well of Bones to house their magical experimentation. Though their intents were originally pure, their magic rituals eventually veered towards the vilest of black magic. Eventually, the Mists took away the Tower and its catacombs and, in so doing, robbed the Czegas of everything they owned. Left without their perverse toys, the family passed away in poverty.^[1] we

Among their accomplishments, the family used clockmaking technology to build a gigantic pendulum inside of the Well of Bones that could drain the youth out of sacrificial victims and use it to power the various horrible enchantments worked inside the catacombs and the tower.^[2]
