A 13-level prestige class unique to the Centurions of the Night; first introduced in the Quoth the Raven Issue 29 article, Secrets of Shadow.

A member of this prestige class continues to grow in magical or psionic power, gains special powers of recruitment and support, communication and transportation, access to circle magic, and the use of a destructive energy known as Un-Fire. They also have access to a pool of tricks and techniques either drawn from the Shadow Weave, or connected to the manipulation of Un-Fire. Centurions of the Night make for effective battlefield commanders, recruiting and supporting local monsters and ne'er-do-wells.

On the downside, this prestige class requires initiation in the Shadow Weave, limiting one's magical options. It also progressively brands those who follow its path with markings that radiate necromantic energy. Perhaps worst of all, a member of this prestige class must accept and embrace limits on their own behaviour as well as a virtue, in order to prevent entrapment by the Dark Powers.
