An avaricio is the spirit (usually at a strength of a Second Magnitude Ghost or Third Magnitude Ghost of a person who met a violent end while having a preoccupying concern for wealth or riches. In death as in life, they are overtaken by greed, but their lack of intelligence in undeath inhibits their ability to acquire and hold onto the riches. Outside of Cumbre de Oro, they are usually solitary and incorporeal or semicorporeal. Within the mythical city of greed, they gather in numbers serving Anibal Coronado and are fully corporeal. These avaricio of immense physical strength, can use weapons or attack with claws, and have unnaturally thick skin despite their frail appearances. Avaricios have the ability to drain Wisdom by touch.^[1]
