Baron Ivan Szimin

Baron Ivan Szimin was a Barovian baron who applied a hefty tax on the Gundarakite farmers but not the Barovian farmers on his land. This caused Ardonk Szerieza to rile up the farmers to create a burning wood effigy to show their defiance. Ardonk also broken into Szimin's home to make off with a personal valuable of Szimin's, finding a golden medallion. However, Szimin was unexpectedly at home, and there was a battle between the two. Ardonk stabbed Szimin and left him bleeding out. The last thing Szimin did before he perished was gaze directly at effigy created in his honor with the strongest, most vile hatred towards Gundarakite rebels he ever felt.
