The marét are sky spirits that once served as guardians for specific families or bloodlines of the Inan for Tsuu-Y-Teke. However, in the current era most have become corrupted and unhinged, plaguing their former wards. Their natural forms are tornadoes of dust, but they normally take the form of birds.[1]
