Arrigal is an NPC from the 5th Edition module Curse of Strahd. He is a Vistani and an agent of Strahd. He may serve as an introductory hook for the adventure, as he delivers the letter to the player characters allegedly written by Kolyan Indrirovich requesting their help. (In fact, this is a ruse perpetrated by [1] He is also the brother of Luvash, the uncle of Arabelle, and the leader of his Vistani camp.[2]

In Curse of Strahd

While Luvash is fairly brutish, Arrigal is more cunning and sneakier and will steal objects that fall into the possession of the player characters if Strahd deems the items useful or having the potential to be used against him.[3] At a certain part of the module, Arrigal may deliver a message for Lady Fiona Wachter to Strahd that the player characters are leaving Vallaki.[4] At another point, he pursues the fleeing Ezmerelda d'Avenir.[5] If the characters gain the Horseman Ravenloft Fortune for Strahd's Enemy, Arrigal may join them in fighting against Strahd, but he will turn traitor.[6]

Possessions

Arrigal carries one key to the Vistani treasure wagon, whereas Luvash has the other.[7]
