The Last Apprentice/Wardstone Chronicles
The Last Apprentice/Wardstone Chronicles
Is anyone else here a fan of this YA series by Joseph Delany? If so I would like to hear your thoughts on the most recent plot developments and how we might adapt some of the monsters and magic from the books to D&D (or whatever game system you use). The sources that malevolent witches derive their power from are very atmospheric and appropriately creepy, but seem like they would hard to import into a game.

I like the series, but I've only got it up to the point where our young hero manages to wait out Old Scratch's attack in the panic room his Mum made for that very purpose.

Not to give anything away, but it gets even more dramatic (in my opinion).

I enjoy the series. I've read all the books and recently I have been listening to the audiobooks as well.
Blade, fire, pistol or stake it matters not.. Even the undead can become true dead.
