Someone read novels and short stories about Kane? These stories are synthesis of Sword and Sorcery and Ghotik tale. Two darklords where inspierd by Albinothic bar-wherewolf Yngolos (Darklords of Kartakas and Verbrek)
Probably Nidala was also based on idea of Cold Light from story of same title.
There are many other stories, which can be good for the Tavenloft. For Example about blodstone, Efrel The Brocken and Bloodmoon.
Karls Wagner Kane.

I'm pretty sure I have the book to one of these which has 3 short stories i believe. Currently reading the one about him coming upon a snowstorm and a castle where there must be a werewolf or something about.

I happen to be in the process of reading Wagner's posthumously-published "Exorcisms and Ecstasies, which features- among other things- an entire section of Kane stories. I've always rather liked the character, and -upon further consideration- I think he might actually fit better into Ravenloft than elsewhere- perhaps as the recipient of a Vistana curse, or some sort of "Mist-led", if not a sort of pocket domain unto himself.
