Here's a thread about the best of the Dungeon Crawl Classics modules on ENworld, which i hear are quite good overall.

There are some excerpts of reviews (and links), and some webenhancements and preview on the Complete Guides on Goodman Games site here. The complete Guides to Beholders, Dopplegangers and Wererats are all by Keith Baker and are apparently quite good.

DCC #34 - Gates of Delirium seems like a perfect fit for Ravenloft.

The vampire one is kinda crappy. It's mostly crunch and racial levels for vampire (so you can take a level of vampire and work to the LA+8 of vampires in the SRD) with variants.
But it has its own strange background to the origin of vampires which did not impress and actually seems rather lame. And most of the variants are uber-vampires and not really Ravenloft.
It also relies heavily on one of the weakest elements of 3.5: level adjustment. Vampires, with a +8 LA, are really badly hit. CR is +2 for a vampire, PC is +8 levels. Huh? And it means you have a L12 character with a L4 character's saves, BAB, and hp.

The guide to fey looks okay, but is really set on making-up its own brand new structure to fey society (no seelie/unseelie). And it's mostly new fey, some with a basis in folklore, some not.

However, the guide to wererats (Keith Baker) is pretty solid with some nice ideas on wererat society and sub-groups. It factions wererats nicely and opens up alot of adventure ideas. I'd recommend this one.

I skimmed their doppelganger book while working on the VRFD. It might not be bad for a generic fantasy campaign, but it takes a non-horror, scifi-ish approach to the concept that wouldn't work well in Ravenloft.

Id say the Rakshasa one is pretty good, it certainly provides a decent background and actually fleshes them out a bit beyond kewl tiger shapechangers.

(although there isnt exactly a huge amount of Rakshasa material out there to compare it against....)

I believe Rakshasas feature in one of the latest Pathfinder modules.

I picked up all the race books and one or two others, squandered a bit of my fun budget. It wil be interesting to see if the Dopp book could have any bearing on the prehistory of Eberron.
