how would the characters in the complete book of humanoids change in the city of the dead(think 2nd ed only please)

If I remember correctly, the 2 ed changes of the Requiem were based in chacarcter class and level.

Yes, class and level.....although wasn't there a sourcebook somewhere that dealt with monstrous undead?
