I have just watched the fim and I liked it very much!
I enjoyed both the visual effects, which as I expect were great, as far as the story and the character's development. Spidey has changed in this film as long as Mary Jane and Harry.
But most of all I liked the sandy man! He could be a great DL for me.

THe film's visual effects were amazing as always. That being said, think about this : Venom being one of Spidey's most powerful foes wasn't in the movie that long. Doc Oc got almost the whole 2nd movie. WEren't we all waiting for VEnom and all we got was next to nothing? I was disappointed
with the story: The Sandman is not Uncle Ben's killer and Venom was way too easy to kill.
Steve
I liked it well enough, but the end battle seemed too much like an episode of "Power Rangers" for me. The best part of the movie for me was Bruce Campbell, as always in Sam Raimi films.

"Becaus I am French, no?"
Lol yeah even to us French speakin fellas or gals that got the best reaction in the theater!! I always look forward to Bruce Campbell in the Spidey movies!!!!!!! We should see more of him too bad we don't. He was good in Hercules or was it Xena?

Yes but that doesn't mean someone else won't as well as if the rumors(sort of) say Toby Maguire might not return, they'll have someone else as well. Some people say they'll do 3 more at least.
I hope they decide to get another actor fo Spiderman, I do't like Tobey Maguire.
As about Venom, I wanted to see him more but I believe he will return as villain (if they do more movies of course). If I remeber well when Venom returns has also another one with him, his kid.

I enjoyed the movie myself, but I thought Peter was just way to emo for my liking. Also, the lack of Venom's tongue action and hiss was a downer.
At least we had Stan Lee appear with his best line in a Mavrl movie yet! *nods*
Tobey McGuire may not be in any more Spidey movies though, he only had a 3 film deal. Dunst however, despite saying she wouldn't do another one, has signed on for Spidey 4.
Also, is it me or did the actress playing Gwen Stacy look far to much like she shoulda been playing the Black Cat? hmmm...

There is nothing worse than a film franchise changing the lead actors halfway through. There is no way in hell I'd watch another Spidey movie without Mcguire playing the lead ... though, honestly, I'm not sure I'd watch another one after this latest attempt anyway.
Where the first two films were a real effort to do something good with the comic book, this fealt like something we would expect from the 80's.
I am looking forward to Bruce Campbell's next, direct to video, film "My name is Bruce", though.
According IMDB, Bruce Campbell appears in every Spidey's movie. I have noticed him at this last one as the maitre, but I really hadn't payed any attention that he used to appear in every movie since I read it here and check it out.
