Desperately in need of assistance!!!!!!

Post by kalyb »

I need help...I'm new to the boards, so maybe there's an old thread about this...if so, can someone direct me to it? If not, maybe someone can help. I am looking for a map of the realm of Ravenloft (the Core). Yeah, I know there's a lot of maps out there, but I'm looking for one pre-Grand Conjunction. It's been suggested to me to get the black box off of eBay, but I couldn't find it. If any one can direct me to any where that might help, I'd appreciate it.

Look in Jester of the FoS' sig under "Old Core". You might also be able to find it at gryphonhill.com.

On a loosely-related note...

Several years ago, someone on some Ravenloft forum put together their own map of the Ravenloft "world" - i.e. what the continents would look like if the Mists drew back. The Core was in the Southern Hemisphere, the Frozen Reaches were north of Darkon, etc. Sri-Raji was on it's own continent, I think, and Bluetspur & the Amber Wastes were all South-East. It was rather nifty, but in a recent computer crash I lost my copy of it.

Would any of you fine people happen to know what I'm talking about, and better yet, have a copy yourselves?

Thanks in advance,
Morgan

While I have an extensive library of fan made stuff about RL, this doesn't ring a bell...

I remember it. I think it was posted or linked to here on the forum. I'll look and see if I can dig it up....

I have it.
It was based on locations if Mistways lead the most convenient route and had Frozen Reaches close to the Amber Wastes (probably with wildly different elevations).
I wouldn't feel right posting it without permission on a public forum but I'll e-mail it to anyone who asks.

Just got that - it's what I was talking about. One question - can anyone remember what the little purple dot above Darkon is? I can work out most of the others.
