From his preparatory research of the area, did Klokulf happen to come across information about native creatures that might have feet fitting the description of these tracks?

No, nothing quite like this came up.
He did find references to 'daemons from the Barrens of Doom and Despair' and 'weird creatures of the Underdark', used by both the Zhengyids and the Sons of Orcus in the civil wars. So strange monsters not native to the region do turn up...

Kat is remaining discreet, though she is focussing more on staying quiet, and not troubling much about hiding. She doesn't want anything in the burrow hearing that she is so close, but anything looking out will see them anyway

Re: Curse of the Witch-King OOC
Alain will be casting Spontaneous Search Spell to speed things up and hopefully alert us to any foes .
This will give him a Search of 31 via a taking ten from the spell to 20 Radius from him and will move to right next to the burrow before he does this .
Here is his Sleight of Hand Roll for Conceal Spellcasting SKill trick .
0 +13=30 check
He is doing this mainly to not spook the girl and her farm hand .

Re: Curse of the Witch-King OOC
I've stopped the fourth chapter.
You guys decide what you want to do. Help or don't, as you please.
If you make any sort of preparations or otherwise take longer actions, let me know.
IF you do go down, then I need:
illumination
marching order
any spells active
anything not on your sheets you are bringing down

Assuming we decide to go down, how long until it is noon? The situation probably requires more immediate action than an hour to prepare spells, but if noon is very soon, it will make dealing with the situation more urgent.

Thats perfect! we can rescue the farmer and then head down the stair to our inevitable death after you have refreshed spells!
No drawbacks there...

Since we set out with the intention of taking care of this threat exactly, I imagine we must be going down.ewancummins wrote: IF you do go down,
Not it. Klokulf already used his light spell.ewancummins wrote: then I need:
illumination
Klokulf will go in with his morningstar drawn and the intention of hitting things, but he is not comfortable in front. Perhaps 3rd or 2nd?ewancummins wrote: marching order
Klokulf will cast shield of faith on himself, bless on the party, and detect thoughts to get some advance warning and maybe some use of his anticipate ability.ewancummins wrote: any spells active

Re: Curse of the Witch-King OOC
OK this my suggested marching order and course of action actually .
1. Marching Order is as Follows : Scouting ahead of any light source by at least 60ft or so since she has Darkvision 60 Ft is Fala as well as she being the fastest party member as well and pretty damn tough and sneak at same time . She can move at 35ft and keep her Move Silent check if it is good .
Next would be Alain as he pretty good scouting skills . Next will be the Cleric . And last will be Kat since her scouting skills are good as well .
2. Spells are good as far I think before we set off . But Fala will be handing a Sunrod to the Cleric for light for the rest of the party and second one if the first does not last long enough( 2 hour Duration Normally) . PS she generally does not use them .
3. Fala will come back when and if she sees something that requires the whole parties attention or runs into trouble she can not handle by herself quickly and silently herself .
PS Unless we actually do not use up a lot in spell Resources etc. we will be needing to take care of certain possible bandit problem first I would think before we even started with Dark stair anyway lol .
