And how many have crossbows?

Since we are in melee Tom will use his shield and sword and attack the one closer to him.

If he can move without getting AoO he will move closer to Gertie so he can use the swordsman to take cover against the archer.

We can also attack the same guy with Gertie.

He has also his leather armor.

Well one of them clearly tried to stab me, so I guess I'll try and clock him with my quarterstaff.

Action is to flee.

Baddies get one free chance to snatch her, and then she's legging it out of the circle.

Failed the average.

The friar and the two masks trip and tumble into and over one another. Big mess. Girl races free, out of combat.

Will the party:

1:Flee after Elissa ( or some other way?) RETREAT ACTION IS FAST, BUT IT RISKS A BACK ATTACK.

2: Stay and fight these guys? ROLL TO HIT

3: execute a fighting withdrawal? THIS CAN GET YOU OUT OF COMBAT THIS ROUND. NO RISK OF ATTACKS. BUT THEY MAY CATCH YOU NEXT ROUND...

4: do something else?
