Just to be clear, patrols and pursuing armsmen prevented the party from simply heading south to the Dancing Maidens.
Then they got lost in the dark streets.


That is why a walk of just a few miles turned into well over an hour's trip( closer to two!).

Large circle of raised mounds, about ten feet above flat ground. Four breaks between mounds, ten to thirty feet wide.

Partly collapsed standing stones within circle of raised mounds, some stones outside.

Plenty of hiding spots and covers.

The whole circle is about 120 to 150 feet in diameter.
