MINIGAME, UNLOCKED

https://www.random.org/playing-cards/

Or we can go the simple route and just roll D20, highest wins, with rerolls for those who have gaming NWP.

IF we go the simple route:

DAMIEN, best of two rolls if he makes his gaming NWP check

NWP:

[dice]0[/dice]

rolls:

[dice]1[/dice]

[dice]2[/dice]

PENELOPE THE SAUCY TART (deals and plays)

[dice]3[/dice]

LACONIC CATTLE DROVER

[dice]4[/dice]

ALFONSE?

ANTE/BUY IN IS THREE FOLLAROS

PLAYING FOR THE POT.

POT IS TWO SILVER PENCES AND TWELVE FOLLAROS (INCLUDING Alfonse's SMALL COIN)

Alfonse can win it all on a nat 20.

If he loses, he's only out three coppers.

In the interests of keeping the action going, and because Van has seen the start of all this, I think it's reasonable to assume Tom hasn't jumped in. Nobody's pulled a blade on Fild, or anything like that. One on one fight, thus far.

And the dog needs handling.
Subject to editing if Van decides otherwise, NWP animal training/handling roll to get Gem under control

Well, I'm going to bed. So, Van may catch up.

perfect

Animal roll is conditional on what Van decides.

Good sleep, ALhoon. Would you prefer the brawl to be played out only with your input, or will you leave instructions for the DM?
Your call.

Eh... I won't be sleeping THAT long. And I honestly don't know Fild yet good enough to leave instructions on when he will break from combat or something.

Sounds legit.

We will pick up when you are ready.

By then Van can have posted whatever Tom's reaction to the initial part of the rumble is.

Ok just arrived and need time to read the 2 pages IC.

Tom will help Fild if the gnome needs help and he will try to calm Gem animal handling untrained....

[dice]0[/dice]

Get he makes Gem more furious

If comes to a fight Tom has alertness

nOt a nat 20, so Gem doesn't join the fray.
But Tom is busy for the second round, trying to calm the beast and failing.

ROUND THREE (RESOLUTION OF THSI ROUND ON HOLD UNTIL ALHOON RETURNS FROM SLEEPLAND TO READ, ROLL, AND POST)

I'll set up initiative.
If FILD wins, hold everything.

If FILD Loses, then BARTH acts first, as usual. But we do NOT finish or move past this round till ALhoon returns, as per his specific request.

INIT GNOME'S SIDE

Okay, we hold that scene for Alhoon.

When he returns he may do as he likes, acting ahead of the big bully-man.
