Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
He shuts and bars the cellar doors.
Shouts.
That's all he can do this round.
TITUS gets an action.
Then you guys, now trapped in the passage unless you break the door or retreat through the cellar, may act.
You may declare actions now.
And a WIS check

Watch will respond this round.
Watch action, go into cellar, no matter what protests Alfonse raises, and look for the robbers.
Solid success on that WIScheck for their officer.
Watch does not even try to be sneaky. Flashing lanterns, stamping down the stairs.
Fild will notice. So will Gertie.

Str check for Tom to open the door.
[dice]0[/dice]
If he fails he will let Fild try if he wants to open it otherwise will suggest to dig with the swords around the door and try to make a hole there.

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
If Fild and Gertie help him, Tom, may be able to pry/dig masonry and earth loose to tunnel out/drop the doorframe loose in 1d4 rounds.
It would be a STR check. Everybody makes one. More success= faster progress.
Forcing your weapons to make an item save can overcome lack of the right tools.
Does anybody have stonemasonry or mining NWP?

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
Okay, guys, all the fighting, dog barking, battering doors, recriminations, etc. has drawn the attention of the Watch.
At this point that will be readily apparent to everybody in the scene,
Nobody (except Alfonse, separated from his comrades) actually SEES the Watch yet, but they can't be far off...
Make choices.
Declare actions. Roll dice as directed for those actions.
Let's see what goes down.
Really long speeches (paragraph or more) will be assumed to actually use up some of your time in the round, effective after this OOC post (everything you have said up till now , this round, is a freebie).

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
Note for ADAM
IF Alfonse tries to escape, he can do so with a simple DEX check to dart around a wall or stand of vines and then skedaddle.
The Watch have been treating him as a witness, not a suspect.
But such an escape would be a full round action.
If he attempts to flim flam again, roll CHR.
Failure may change the way the Watchmen are treating him.
If he does something else, let me know.
I'm not trying to steer, but rather provide you with the mechanical info you need to handle your possible actions.

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
Action described ICly.
That is, Fild shouted to the watch they're coming to get them a few seconds reprieve and tried to convince his fellows to not draw suspicion by escape since they haven't done anything wrong (that can be proven). I won't repeat the whole argument here.
I am not trying to convince the players, my character is trying to convince his fellows. As such, I don't see a reason for an OOC debate.

Agreed. It is in game, not metagame.alhoon wrote:Action described ICly.

Titus haven't heard Tom? He said that the club-man and his brother have attacked a man earlier 6 on 1 and have the loot in the bag.
