CW is a success.

DN is a failure.

SHE gets on the roof.

Can't hear anything much. Maybe the walls are too thick?

The man does NOT spot the gnome with the burning match. Good thing Alhoon's guy used concealment.

Tom goes 30' away so he has the pointblank shot with the bow. He has bow spec.

Does attack from behind applies since the man is surprised and he hasn't seen Tom?

[dice]0[/dice]

Any place Tom can take cover and still be at pointblank range?

Does he wear a mask? If no, can I do non-lethal damage? We... kinda broke in. Unless there are serious signs they ARE evil people Fild doesn't find it in his heart to just stab a man.
If he does wear a mask, Fild will attack normally.

In any case, here's an attack roll:
[dice]0[/dice] +1 for specialization.

Nevermind... Unless he has 3 dex that's a miss.

Stab? So he is not using the arquebus?

Noted.

He can flat blade at a modest penalty. But he missed, anyway.

The stalls, sure.

And yes, bonuses apply. He hits. Even with penalty because a certain gnome has devised to run up and get in the way.

A miss might have hit Fild.

Plus spec DMG

Head shot.

Drops guy.

Adam still gets his action.

I am in comms with Zilfer about stuff.

For now, Damien pulls security, making sure nobody ambushes the ambushers.

I mentioned pulling out the short sword and the shield and going chop-chop on suspected buddies. Wouldn't have killed without more confirmation though. Sure, they DO seem like squatters and trespassers, but Fild has done the same a few times and thankfully nobody shot arrows at him.
He also doesn't absolutely trust Aldon's story. Sure he's a bigshot and sure, some people accosted him. Could be something else going on. Those people may also not be directly responsible. Even if they ARE directly responsible... they are robbers. They were about to go rob people themselves.

He's not that hardened (at 1st lvl) to just go and carve people up without being sure they're going to do that to him. Evidence points towards them being baddies, but there's a 10% chance we're just killing squatters or people paid by the robbers to guard their backs.

More or less... he thinks there was a good chance THEIR group could have been in such a place a few weeks ago.

ZILFER UPDIZZLE

Damien will be an NPC for now.
Zilfer is still a player in this adventure and is not being replaced. He's just busy.
I will run his PC in a reasonable manner, with due caution. He will earn XP, but of course will also be subject to risks like other members of the party.
If Zilfer gets more free time he is very welcome to return and play Damien again.
