Zilfer, you can jump in when, where, and as you like.

The man that offended Branca has a dagger? How many others are at his table? Does he look drunk?
Tom plans to follow and give him a lesson later. And of course rob him:P He will not keep everything for himself he will share it with Branca and whoever of his companions come with him.

Yes, he has a dagger. It is sheathed at his belt.
He does not seem drunk. Maybe he's feeling some effect from his wine, but his speech isn't slurred and he isn't wobbling in his seat.
The rude man drinks alone.

Ok, so when he leaves Tom (and whoever comes with him) will follow him hidden and first opportunity will attack him. It's dark and with a hood I hope he cannot see us.
Tom wants to teach him manners (and get some coins for them and Branca...) He will not attack with a weapon if the man will not draw it first but will threaten him.

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
Got a post up for you, I'll go ahead and pay for our first day since most of us seem strapped for cash and my character kind feels like he's the reason most of us left the previous town.
I think somewhere in the description awhile ago you said people were playing 'placards' so i'm not sure if that's supposed to read "Play Cards" but i just assumed it was cards. Hopefully that works as a first post.

Yes, that should be playing cards.

Note that printed playing cards are a recent innovation, like arquebuses and spyglasses. Not everyone has seen these before, but anyone from this region who has the Gaming NWP will be familiar with them.
The suits are coins, cups, clubs, and swords.
Until recently, then, cards were handmade and relatively costly. Poor men are more likely to throw dice.

GAMING NWP success
You know some games to play using cards like these.
APPRAISAL success
You can make a good guess at the value of the deck.
INFOMATION GATHERING success
If somebody with this skill asks around, he can find out more about who sells such cards

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
Yeah I put 1gp for playing cards since I didn't know how much they would cost. Should my GP now read SP right? Since Silver is the new Gold. I had 24GP after buying equipment which is 24 Silver in game?ewancummins wrote:Note that printed playing cards are a recent innovation, like arquebuses and spyglasses. Also have "playing cards" as a NWP so figured Damien would be able to easily identify what game they might be playing. :0

Cool good to know. That might be something Damien asks as well, since I mentioned his is old.ewancummins wrote:GAMING NWP success

1 GP of virtual money was fine. Starting hold and costs as per PHB unless I said otherwise.Zilfer wrote:Yeah I put 1gp for playing cards since I didn't know how much they would cost. I have only adjusted the prices IN PLAY, and asked you to convert the leftover money from your starting cash.

Re: POVERO Campaign OOC
And, playing cards is narrow for an NWP. You may take gaming in general (Gaming, CHR based). It covers cards, dice, board games, etc. Games of chance and skill,M for fun or profit. It also includes the etiquette of play, spotting cheaters, all that. And some tricks if you like.
Oh, and pick pockets thief ability can be combined with gaming NWP to do card tricks.
