Scout was the only profession Terik Forestrunner could only do! Being the third and younger son, he never felt the necessity to help out his family with their farm. From his early age when was upset or frustrated Terik found refugee in the nearby forest, taking long walks alone among the high trees or just sitting in an opening always calm him. It was there where he met Angelo an old druid that lived in a hut who has totally abandoned civilization. Angelo became his mentor and taught him everything he knew about nature as long as how to use a bow and a sword. But his fighting skills were no help when one night a strange humanoid attacked Angelo’s hut. The old druid sacrificed his life to delay it so Terik could flee. After his mentor’s death the ranger was no more the same person, he became more solitary and religious, trying to find inner peace and answers in faith. This change got him closer to his cousin the young acolyte Lyrana. She has helped him overcome his depression and regain trust in himself.
To earn his own money Terik works as a scout or accompanies caravans from one town to another. Money isn’t his first priority in life but he likes to have the necessary to get going and get better equipment.
