Absolutely. Just tell me the piece you're interested in and I'll let you know how much I'm asking for it. I have all my Ravenloft art in portfolios which I bring with me to cons, so if you're going to be at MegaCon, Origins, GenCon or DragonCon next year, feel free to come by my table and page trough them.
I'll have to budget for a piece this GenCon and track you down in Artist's Alley. How much does your work go for?

Well hope your doing well!
I'm doing alright, thanks! I'm busy, which is good (and may even be profitable, one day! LOL!). Yeah, the Tarokka deck is impossible to find. I'm glad I got the two packs I got when they came out (and left one sealed). :-) if I ever come across a pack online I'll be sure to post that information here.

It depends on the piece in question. Usually around $50-$150 for RvL work. Work for other games can be a bit more expensive, depending how how large and elaborate it is (inks, colors, etc). I take onsite sketch commissions, too. Those prices are a bit different. I should have plenty of copies of Out of the Mists as well.

Haha! Well I wish you the best of luck, and if you ever do which is doubtful at this point in time i thinks, then definitely post it here! :D

Heh that unsealed one will be worth some value i'm sure if you hold onto it longer. Curious do you play DnD/Ravenloft/Roleplaying? Or are you just an artist for it? If you play that is definitively uberly awesome. Not that you aren't if you don't.

Oh, absolutely. I'm a big-time gamer. I've had to drop a lot of my games recently, though, in order to keep up with this giant project I'm drowning under, but once I get back on track, I'm planning on running the Carrion Crown Pathfinder campaign path, which is, essentially, Ravenloft in all but name and location. My players don't know it, but I'm planning on actually setting the game on a floating Ustalovian domain IN Ravenloft itself (assuming the modules are self-contained enough to handle that). I'm looking forward to it. Check out the "Faces" section of arcane-marks.com (link below) and the Personal Illustration section of my deviantART page (http://everwho.deviantart.com/) for drawings of my own PCs.

Thanks. You get to the various galleries by clicking on the GALLERY link at the top of the main page which leads you here: http://everwho.deviantart.com/gallery/ The individual galleries run down the left side of the screen. The personal gallery on my website is here: http://www.talonart.com/personal.html and the Faces section of Arcane-Marks is here: http://www.arcane-marks.com/faces.html All of these have portraits of my own PCs in them.

Just took a look at your faces page, and wow I have to say that's really nice of you to allow us to use them for personal use. I know a lot of people probably wouldn't do taht. I may actually use some of these for NPC's or/and characters now. :D

Wootness!

Well reading this topic from page 1 to 17 was awesome to say the least, and I'm very tempted to buy from you, however i find myself currently in a time and place where such is impossible. :(

Again it's amazing to see people who can draw so well, and so willing to serve the fans. I'd clapping a one man applause after reading this topic all the way through. :D Also don't be embarrassed as it seems you do throughout this topic lol!

Maybe in the future here I will have enough money to spare $20 for now i need to make sure i save as much as i can for the future is uncertain. Kudos to everyone who scanned their pictures, it was wonderful to see additional drawings of the settings. While the books are great, a picture is worth a thousand words, and with how many pictures i just saw it's probably worth a decent sized book! haha!

Well now i'm off to bed! Tata.

Hey, it's my pleasure. That's what I've put them up there for. I just draw those things for fun (and because I'm so grossly visually based that I can't accept a character as complete until I have some sort of visualization of him), so I'm glad to share.

Ha! Not embarrassed, just grateful and humbled. I greatly appreciate y'all's support.

I understand. Just to let you know, II currently have 17 copies of Out of the Mists remaining and will have them with me at my appearances at Origins Game Fair , GenCon and Dragon*Con. After they're gone, I won't be printing any more. I also still have copies of Stray Marks, Big Damn Heroes, and my 2012 sketchbook, Les Femmes du Fantastique, featuring all my best "good girl" (and some "bad girl") RPG art. The latter two are not yet available online (due to HTML trouble), but any interested parties can contact me about them directly at everwho@comcast.net.

Well if you ever intend to sell that Tarrokka deck let me know, I can try and save up for buying it that way. xD *vanishes back into the mists for awhile.*

Talon,

I'm not sure someone else asked this before but is it also possible to make a drawning of player characters? I have 5 players with great characters and it would be awesome to have a great picture of each of them. If yes, how much will it cost?

greetz,

Yes, but only if you catch me at a convention appearance, where I specialize in doing PC portraits. Unfortunately, I'm too busy to take on private commissions outside of con appearances. My next show will be Origins Game Fair in two weeks or so and then GenCon and Dragon*Con later in the summer. My rates are $25 for a headshot, $40 for full-body (+$20 per additional character). All work is done in b/w. I'll also do custom b/w sketch cards for $25, $40 for color. Finally, I'll do non RPG character sketches (Superman, Darth Vader, Wonder Woman, whatever) for $50.

Well, yeah, that does make it kind of difficult. If I ever get to a point where I can accept such commissions at home, I'll be sure to make an announcement here. Sorry!
