I hope someone buys the property and finishes the construction.

Nice one, but not really a castle. Sorry, as a European I'm spoiled to see real medieval castles.

Yeah, but it's very cool, especially the fact that's not properly finished yet.

This is actually the Dundas castle, also called the Craig-e-Clair castle, in Roscoe, NY.
I only wish I had retired sooner!
Re: The real castle Ravenloft
He is correct apparently AbandonedNY.com who has done most of the legal photography of the castle makes a habit of renaming locations so that they are not liable for vandalism caused by the public exposure of the abandoned sites in question and to mislead would be vandals.Catman Jim wrote:This is actually the Dundas castle, also called the Craig-e-Clair castle, in Roscoe, NY.
so that's kind of a bummer...

Not really. Renaming the castle to "Castle Ravenloft" was awesome too.Skyrim wrote:He is correct apparently AbandonedNY.com who has done most of the legal photography of the castle makes a habit of renaming locations so that they are not liable for vandalism caused by the public exposure of the abandoned sites in question and to mislead would be vandals.Catman Jim wrote:This is actually the Dundas castle, also called the Craig-e-Clair castle, in Roscoe, NY.
