Back to Basics Chapter 1: Where are we ?

Ping leaves for a moment to go into a back room . He comes back with a bag and dumps out a lot stuff on a table for the party to look over . He also set the bag on the table also as something that could be chosen too . The amount of stuff that he dumped out of the bag could not have come out of an ordinary bag . After doing this he sits backed down in his chair to drink his tea and awaits on your choices .

Dalorna looks over the items....

Sara is impressed by the bag and the belts but she doesn't pick them yet, she prefers to pay a better a look at all the items."

Over the next few days Alia will get to know the village, entertaining the villagers during boring tasks like weaving and net mending, and in the evenings, and trying to pick up gossip and news about the surrounding area, especially the cave.

Dalorna plans to spend the next few days copying spells, discussing magic with Ping, etc.

Sara will take a look around the village with any of the party members wants to join her. She will also talk with the people about Ping and the caves and try to find out if they know something more.

Isidar will join Sara in looking around the village and gathering information. She will help repair anything that she can (especially things of metalwork) in the village, telling Sara and any villager that she helps that Gond is a god who gives favor to those who do for themselves and create things.

In the coming 5 days The Professor and Dalorna are busy either transcribing or trying to transcribing spell in to their respective books . The rest of the party talks to the village . They meet Al a few days after the party coming home from fishing with a group of men . He is about 20 Years old and but looks about five years older from his years of fishing . He is the only one who had been to the Cave he found it by accident a couple years ago when he took a walk in to the woods . When he had gotten there he wandered in when he had seen a glint of metal farther in the cave . When he went to investigate he heard a strange moaning that made him scared for his life so he ran all away home . He had only told some of the people in the village that he had found cave is all and not about the strange moan that made him run away . This is only dragged out of him by the persuasive charms of Alia after few hours of talking to him . The group finds that the village is in high spirits after the 5 days of fishing with their new nets . This is the best catch that they have had in weeks . On asking if Al will bring them to the cave Al is willing as long as the whole party is going and he can go back to the village after taking him to where it is .

Dalorna thanks Ping once again for his help with her studies. After breakfast, she double-checks all of her gear and her brother's gear.

She tells the others-

''If we are all in readiness, let us proceed straightaway to the cave. ''

"I agree." Huln responds. The sooner we take steps to unveiling our current plight the better. Though the sound of moaning the young man described could be anything from wind blowing through the cave entrance to any matter of dangerous creature. Best to be prepared.

Alia bows politely to Dalorna

"i believe i am prepared!"

Ovina and I are all packed.

Dalorna leaves as soon as everyone is ready to go.

Al meets the party in front of Ping House . He seems excited to be leaving village and leading the brave hero's who saved the village children from the "forest goblins". Having eyes mainly for Alia while leading the group through the forest . After traveling about half way to where the cave is he suddenly stops and look ahead for a second saying to Alia:"Did you see that ?" stopping and pointing further into the forest in the direction that the party is going .

Alia accepts Al's attention with a very slight smile, until he pauses, when she stares intently in the direction he is pointing
