Furious, Zumba unleashes a series of attacks on its direct foe.

OOC: still in rage mode, Zumba strikes with Flurry of Blows using the quarterstaff.
He gets 2 attacks at -2/-2 penalty. Since he has +2 from the Str increase, that stays at +6/+6.

Also, Zumba should have -13 (-5) hp, since he's gained 8 temporary hit points from the Con increase.
Also, I forgot the +2 increase in damage in the previous round. Unimportant as that one didn't even connect, but I'm correcting it for this round.

Attacks: 1d20 +6 (x2) : 19, 9
Damage (if relevant for the first strike): 1d6 + 4 (str) + 1d10 (berserker staff): 18

Goren curses as the blade harms him. These foes are powerful. I hope someone takes care of the rider, who seems impervious to my spell. Turning, he faces his assailant. "Lathander, guide my weapon!!" He grabs his mace and prepares to attack his foe.

Goren attacks his foe. Using Intuitive Attack, this grants him +9 BAB.

Crouched on the coach holding some sort of bag he just got out of his pack, Vincent sighs at seeing the scene before him. Zumba seems to have no trouble with his opponent, although the red-haired Priest seems a little hard pressed. He sees the beastman aiming an arrow at him and the rider standing behind him, simply observing for the moment. Behind him someone he's seen before. He wonders why she doesn't do anything. He makes a decision and suddenly jumps off the coach and makes a full sprint in the direction of the beastman aiming an arrow at him. On the run he draws his mace.

OOC: Declare doge on the beastman aiming an arrow at me (+1 AC)
Dunno if I pass threatened areas, but, if so, I have mobility +4 AC to AoO.
I'm not to familiar with the rules on full movement combined with jumping off the coach. SO no idea how much distance I cover.
Tresspassers will be shot......

Zumba's first rage-powered stroke splits the bear-faced creature's skull. The monster tumbles backward, lifeless, and so it is no great surprise that the Souragnien's second blow goes wide.

The eagle-headed beast facing Goren is surprised by his martial surprise -- terminally so. Its skull caved in from the Cleric's mighty blow, the beast falls down, dead. The wolf-headed abomination struggles against the power holding it immobile, but fails to extricate itself. Its human eyes roll in frustration and a little fear as its allies fall and it remains incapable of movement.
(OOC: Monster D rolls a 15 for its Will save, which is close but not enough to escape from the Hold Person spell.)

"Kill the poppinjay," the rider orders, his voice grating like shards of bone drawn across bone. The goat-horned and -hooved monster grins -- and looses its arrow straight at Vincent! The dashing Swashbuckler's speed saves him, however, and the arrow goes wide.
(OOC: Monster C attacks with an 8, which is not enough to hit Vincent.)

DM section:

Monster A: -24 hp. Dead.
Monster B: -16 hp. Dead.
Monster C: -5 hp.
Monster D: Stunned for three rounds unless save ends.
Rider: -11 hp.

Goren: -15 hp.
Jazelle: In limbo.
Vincent: A-okay!
Zumba: -13 (-5) hp.

Looking around, Zumba notices there are still two creatures remaining, plus the rider. One of them is down, held by some invisible force. Still under his rage, he does not think much: he just sees the opportunity.

He lurches forward against the enemy lying down and tries to beat the life out of him.

OOC: move and attack the enemy on the ground. I suppose he's helpless, right? Zumba attacks with the staff, still raging. He does not do do a Coup-de-Grace (can't do that in a rage anyway, plus it's a full round action) but will certainly try to beat the thing into a pulp.

Still OOC: attacking the defenseless one seems a viable course of action for an enraged ex-slave. He does not have to have much honour. The quicker we reduce our threats the better.

Goren keeps an eye on the creature that harmed him, but moves to Zumba's position. He clears his throat "Zumba I will heal you" he announces to the man.

As Vincent rushes up to the beast that just fired at him, he makes a slight turn in the direction of the rider and throws the bag he had in his hand at the feet of the horse. The bag seems to explode into a goo. Vincent draws his weapon and makes a roll toward the horse to close the distance.

OOC: Vincent throws a tanglefoot bag at the feet of the horse.
Throwing 20
Tumble 29 to avoid an AoO from the beast.

Something went wrong with the 1st post I did (which didn't get posted), luckily I could find my dice-rolls so I did not have to "throw" them again.

Zumba's staff strikes the immobilized creature, and blood and teeth fly, though the beast moves not. The Capoeira can feel the wholesome glow of Goren's healing magic pass through him.

Vincent manages to dodge an attack from the eagle-beaked monster, and his bag of goo strikes the white horse a good blow. The horse whinnies with shock at this unseemly treatment to a noble animal and tries to rear up, but it is stuck to the ground! All looks to be going perfectly!

Goren feels a surge pass through the wolf-maw when Zumba strikes it. His spell buckles -- and holds. But the creature is fighting now, fighting harder than before. Even with blood dripping down its freakish face, the monster is not yet out of the running!

"I weary of this," the white-clad rider says, his voice grating like shards of bone. "I ordered you to kill him. Now kill him."
The eagle-beaked creature quails with fear at the sound of its master's voice, but acts with the discipline of a soldier. It pivots smoothly, sets arrow to string -- and shoots Vincent in the side. The pain is excruciating. The worst part of it may well be feeling the barbs set in flesh.

"The embrace of death is waiting for all of you," the rider says. He rises in the bridles, and readies himself to leap to freedom.

DM corner:

Monster C: -5 hp.
Monster D: Stunned for two rounds unless save ends, -10 hp.
Rider: -11 hp, horse immobilized.

Goren: -15 hp.
Jazelle: In limbo.
Vincent: Vincent: -5 hp.
Zumba: -2 (0) hp.

Zumba barely feels the healing offered to him by Goren and, still mad, persists in his brutal assault of the creature lying on the floor. He superficially acknowledges to the priest that he's feeling better.

Trying to ignore the excruciating pain of the arrow that just hit him, Vincent keeps on going and attacks the rider who is about to jump.

OOC: Full attack. Keeping dodge on the beaked creature.
Main hand 19, Damage 8.
Off Hand 23, Damage 4.
Tresspassers will be shot......

Goren moves as fast as he can without provoking any opponents to get to the rider and help Vincent flank him.

(DM announcement: Since Myth-weavers appears to be down at the time that I am typing up this post, I am currently incapable of reading your ACs. This will be reflected in the post; please let me know if you are hit.)

Zumba's next assault cracks the wolf-mawed beast's skull, and Goren can feel death snap the spell. The corpse sags limply onto the blood-soaked ground. Even in his rage, Zumba can hear the eerie sound of the dried-up earth sucking down the blood. The earth moans; a sound fit to fill even a berserker with fear. What happens next is even more horrifying. (Special PM for Zumba! ^^)

(I am assuming Goren uses a double-move to get the battle. If not, let me know and you'll need to wait until next round to arrive.) Even as Goren charges towards the new battle developing around the mired horse, he can see Vincent slash at the enemy -- and see the eagle-beaked beast nock another arrow, then loose it at his swashbuckling companion!
(Bird-boy fires an arrow; attack roll 11. No fear.)
The projectile narrowly skims Vincent's hair, missing him due to his acrobatic attacks.

Vincent's first attack against the white-clad rider misses. His second strikes true, however, and the priest growls with anger. "Know death, poppinjay," he grates, and draws back his hood. The face of Fear gazes back at Vincent and Goren, an eyeless gaze that freezes the marrow and dazzles the mind. It is impossible to say what the rider looks like; the eye glances away from that which can not be endured.
(Goren and Vincent, please roll a Will save against DC17 or be shaken.)

DM zone:
Monster C: -5 hp.
Monster D: dead.
Rider: -15 hp, horse immobilized.

Goren: -15 hp.
Jazelle: In limbo. I may need to find someone to replace her. Feel free to refer candidates. ;)
Vincent: -5 hp.
Zumba: -2 (0) hp.

Vincent takes a step back, a small cry of surprise and fear escaping his throat as he sees the face. His hands regrip his weapon as if looking for assurance.

OOC: Lost the link to the roll, but I failed it , rolled 15. Does shaken give a penalty or do I lose a round? I'm not much on rules, so I tend to forget these simple things.

The blow of his staff connects heavily and his foe is finally defeated. But Zumba does not have time to celebrate. The earth groans while drinking down the blood of his victim. It's as if the blood were quenching the thirst for water that the dry ground had been suffering for so long. But Zumba's eyes were fixed on the body before him. A state of shock and paralyzation took over him and his fury subsided.

He looked up, amazed, and for a moment it seemed his skin colour had changed. Had his skin colour allowed, he'd surely have turned pale!

He looked up, trying to ascertain the situation. Suddenly unsure of what to do, he eyed the creature attacking Vincent, then the rider and he weighed his options.

These monsters were once people... good Souragien folk. But the rider?

Perhaps not, he thought to himself, answering his own doubt that he had barely spoken aloud. His choice now was between attacking the rider and the remaining beast, but he decided quickly. Moving to the beast armed with the crossbow, he tried to apply an incapacitating blow, to try and give time to disarm it.
He attacks crying to the others
Spare this one, please!

OOC: I don't have my sheet with me.
<--- EDITED (I have my sheets again) --->
So the plan is this:

Zumba's rage has ended, semi-voluntarily. That has a number of negative effects: for the duration of the encounter, Zumba is fatigued - can not run nor charge, has -2 to Str and -Dex and so AC: -1 and BAB: -1. His hitpoints go back to normal: now at 22/24.

Zumba will try to attack the remaining 'foot-soldier' with a stunning fist. The idea is to immobilize it and use the next round to try and disarm it instead of killing.

Attack roll: 1d20 + 4 = 16
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2779327/

Damage: 1d6 + 1 = 3
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2779328/

Fort DC: 10 + 4/2 + 2 (Wis) = 14
