Dalorna listens to this conversation, but makes no comment.

Huln's Interview


The little girl leads Huln into the same house as Sara was led to . After the pings hands a tiny package that the girl unwraps quickly as she is leaving you there with old man Ping . "Please have seat and tell me about your self and how you got here ? " Pings says to Huln as he takes a seat behind the same table that Sara sat for her interview with Ping .

Arnulf listens to the conversation and thinks about it. "So what you are saying is : This old man had a dream, and because of this dream, he built the Temple? Before the dream, would he have been capable of building the Temple?"

The young man looks at Dalorna, an eyebrow raised. That is really bizarre, if you ask me. Noone dreams then can build a Temple.

[Lord Skybolt]

"No the old man did not build a temple . But a small shrine to Algor . It is close to the dock in a hut is all close to the dock . "The villager replies to Arnulf's question slowly as to make the him understand and as if talking to a small child .

[ewancummins]

Dalorna says-

''Oh, well, do you think it would be possible for us to view this shrine?''

[Lord Skybolt]

"Sure, I can show you where it is if you want ." And with that the villager starts to lead whoever wishes to where the shrine is .

[steveflam]

"No the old man did not build a temple . But a small shrine to Algor . It is close to the dock in a hut is all close to the dock . "The villager replies to Arnulf's question slowly as to make the him understand and as if talking to a small child .

"Listen. I am no child and don't talk to me that way. Are we clear?" Arnulf stands up and eyes the villager with anger. "Noone in your village speaks their mind? I merely was offering a STINKING opinion to my sister." He is now standing right at the villager and and his finger pokes the villager to accentuate his anger.

The youth is now clearly mad at the him. He spits on the ground and eyes the villager with narrowed eyes "If you aren't happy to have your children back, let me know, I'll take back all my actions that saved them, you idiot!" Dropping his fishing pole and fish, he storms off into the village face red and temper rising. He kicks his feet on the ground, growling and really seething.

Dalorna catches up to Arnulf.

''Now, Arnulf, don't be cross. The man was not trying to insult you. I'm sure that he was just trying to clear up any confusion about the size of this shrine. Maybe he doesn't realize that you are a lot smarter than most young men of your age."

Dalorna favors her little brother with a warm smile.

''I know you wouldn't really take back your brave actions that helped to save those children. You are getting angry over a small thing. I need you to be steady for me, okay? We have to keep calm and think straight in order to find our way home."

[steveflam]

Arnulf snorts. :Bah, I'll be fine. Just give me a few minutes alone please. If he doesn't apologize I'll be very sore. I am not a boy but am near a man. I don't think a boy could have done what I did today."

The young man walks off, still upset but not as hot as earlier.

Huln's Interview

Huln smiles as Ping sets the stage. Whether he was an authority figure or not, he had no problem appraising others as his subjects."I agree on the condition that you answer the same questions for me. And since you have already had the opportunity to interview one of my fellow travelers I propose that you state your case first. Not only would that be fair, I believe it would be polite."

[ewancummins]

Dalorna leaves Arnulf for a moment and seeks out the villager who'd told them about the shrine.

''Excuse me, sir, but I'd like to apologize for my brother. We are far from home, and he's worried bout our family and friends. I hope that you didn't take anything he said personally. We are very glad that we were able to rescue the children of your village- it is an honor to have been of service to you in your time of need. "

[Lord Skybolt]

"I was not trying to be insulting to your brother but I just thought he was a little slow is all . I did say that the old man just built a shrine and not some kind of temple is all in hut ." The villager pause's"So I was just trying to make him understand is all . I would gladly take you to where it is ." And with those words he takes Dalorna to where the shrine is located at . When getting there he just gestures to what you would assume to be a supply hut except for some minor oceanic motifs that decorate it .

[Lord Skybolt]

Huln Interview

"What case would that be ? " Pings arches his eyebrow at the weird question ." I just asked you who you are and where your from and if you knew how you got here is all ."And with that Pings waits for your response .

[VAN]

Sara walks back and spots Alia. Getting closer tells her about the meeting with Ping.

"He has only saked me from where I come from and how I got here. He seems a man that knows more than he says. He wasn't very surprised when I have mentioned that mists got me here from my homeland. Also a moment after I left a girl entered his house. I spoke to her and she said that she gave her a task but she didn't want to tell me what. I followed her but I lost her when she entered a house. Guess she has used a 2nd door to leave. Anyway when he calls you to speak with him better come clean and reply to his question but at the same time try to see through him, understand what he is up to and if he has a way to sent back to our homes."

[ewancummins]

Dalorna doesn't stray far with the strange man, but thanks him for his time. Seeing that her companions have not joined her, she says-

''I'll look at the shrine later. Thank you very much."

She hurries back to the others without investigating the shrine.

These locals seem to be really keen on splitting our party. Very suspicious! Hmmm, Sara is back. I'd better find out what she saw and heard- or what that creepy old guy might have done to her.

She walks up to Sara and Alia. If she sspots Arnulf and Isidar, she will gesture for them to come over to join the gathering.


In a hushed voice-

''So, am I the only one who thinks that this business of seperate interviews is kind of suspicious? What purpose could it serve? Why waste time when he could have simply questioned us all at once? What if there's something sinister going on here? We don't know this Master Ping fellow. We don't even know if he has any lawful authority in this town. We know almost nothing about him, and he hasn't been quick to tell us- or did he give you more information about himself, Sara?"
