SAWETTT!
19! for Dalorna

We'll have to see what happens, but my current default plan is to hurl that club at the nearest monkey-boy ( standard action) draw my dagger ( move action) and take a five foot step behind some kind of cover or concealment -a nearby tree, probably. I'll save my spells for dire need, and avoid melee for now- melee is not where a wizard should be.

I have a 2 for initiative.
I will be pulling out my shield (move) and attacking (standard), I reserve the right to take a 5ft step as tactically needed (saving prof./Ovina, interposing in combat, etc.). When I hit any monkey-men, it will be non-lethal, which is -4 against my +3 = -1. If their numbers are too great and/or my attacks are useless I may switch to lethal.

Arnulf's Init mod is +5 and not +4 . So your Init. is 10 then .
Still justing waiting for BBQ for the Professor .
By the way Van you can roll an Init for when Sara gets there .

Writing papers, that's what. I've done well thus far, and I am really enjoying all my classes- even the Women's Studies course!

Rolling Init for Professor then since I'm not waiting any more .
Here it is :17 , he is lucky this time .
Init. for every one is .
19 for Dalorna
17 for Professor Huln .
15 For Alia
12 for Sara when she gets there .
10 for Arnulf
2 for Isidar
Every one except Isidar can act before the "Monkey Men" when they come on the scene .
To Ewan: Why would you take that class ?

From Arnulf's position behind a tree can he in fact get behind the monkey men and surprise attack one with his dagger and short sword, Lord Skybolt?

If I were still a bachelor...I could give you about a dozen good-looking reasons to take it.
As I am married, my reasons are rather less devilish : I needed another 300 lvl social science course and this one was cross-listed as anthropology. It's about Indians of the Southwest. I'm down with studying Apaches, Navajos, Hopi, etc. Most of the class is reading stories- fiction and non-fiction. Some if is fantasy- made-up stories using Indian myth and legend as the background/source material. The teacher is pretty cool- and not, it would seem, a radical feminist.
