"Good job Threen".
While waiting the result of the Threen's plan she gets a scroll out of her pocket and cats it.
Seeing men, women and undead flee from the fane she says:
"I think is my time now!"
The evoker gets another scroll out and casts the spell.

As Ino completes her spell, she sees the men and women that have fled the Fane throw down their weapons.
''We surren..''
WHOOOOSSHHHH!
The fireball envelops the whole entryway. When its bright flash has faded, the ground is strewn with the smoking corpses of the dead. The stink of sulfur and burning flesh is strong.
''Ahhhhhhh!!! Help! Help!''
The pathetic handful of survivors flail at their burning robes, scream for help, or just lie on the ground weeping and pleading for mercy.
The undead with them seem to have been destroyed.

The ignition of the fireball momentarily illuminates Alain's face, which has become twisted with pain. His voice carries on in a steadily rising and descending flow of lyric and harmony and pain.
The song he sings must be an old and very melodic funeral dirge or a climactic operatic tragedy sung in what very few of the people present would recognize as Balok.
For the bard, it was like watching yourself do something to which you have no control. He performed to inspire bloodshed and what could only be termed a mass execution. He had agreed to this plan, but the carnage he saw unfold before him seemed beyond his design. Yet he sang on.

Ino has no time to stop her spell!
"Holly Mystra! NOOOO"
Are the only words the evoker can say. She glances at Nissa and Threen.
"I'm terribly sorry! Never suspected that! And they had undead with them! Thought they wanted to attack us!"

The Fane is burning in earnest now- its whole front is awash with flames. Gouts of flame lap at the eaves, causing the birds nesting there to fly away in a panic. Black smoke boils out of windows and doors. Screaming may be heard from within, above the steadily growing roar of fire.

Almost in response to the screams coming from within, The Bard lets the contents of his soul burst forth in a black crescendo. The screaming becoming an accompaniment to the song like a choir of the damned. Tears begin to flow freely down his face as his voice erupts forth, on and on like the tide from the sea of sorrows.

Ino, Alain, Threan, Glim, and Mistress Nissa Gyrglass are all standing behind a line of armed watchmen, facing the front of the building.
A little distance away, also behind the lines-
Ironheart is locked in combat with a hideous humanoid. The creature is clearly not human or demihuman- it has reddish hide and a disgusting black beard that moves of its own accord, writhing like a mass of worms. It is trying to strike Ironheart with a wicked-looking polearm.

The watchmen and soldiers near Alain are visibly affected by the bard's song. Their faces are grim as deathmasks, and their knuckles white as they grip their spears and swords. Men rock their bodies in time with the singing.BigBadQDaddy wrote:Almost in response to the screams coming from within, The Bard lets the contents of his soul burst forth in a black crescendo. Someone stands up and cries out-
''Let's kill all those sons-of-whores!!!''
A number of the men, then a whole section of the line, rush forward and begin to stab and beat the scorched survivors of Ino's fiery blast!

A vague outline of some monstrous creature appears near the fiend that is attacking Ironheart.kintire wrote:Shana pauses, raises one hand and begins weaving another spell... this one sending a chill down the spines of those who see it even from the corner of their eyes:
[Phantasmal killer on the Devil!]
The devil with the glaive stares for a moment, then shrugs and ignores Shana's magic.

Ironheart fights with sword and ax, but his attacks seem to do little damage to the creature.
The monster cackles- a horrid sound- and redoubles its efforts in battle. Spittle flecks its filthy beard as it foams at the mouth, and its red eyes seem to blaze with hell-fire as it enters a killing frenzy! It whirls its pole-arm like a staff and knocks the sword from Ironheart's right hand!
''KILL-KILL-KILL!!!''
