Breana's hold takes effect- but what is Blaise doing?

BBQD- feel free to gloss your crosstown travel time and post an arrival scene at the Old Shell. Alain will have little trouble finding Shana and/or Ironheart in the evening crowd.

BTW, that wasn't a choo choo train, it was me reacting to a player's request by posting a gloss and update. Ino and Threan were a couple of hours behind chronologically, so roleplaying out the business of walking around town looking for the other guys seemed both tedious and pointless, and increased the growing 'time gap'. They are now 'caught up' in both time and space with the main body of the party.

BTW, even though time constraints have withheld me from posting over the last few days, I think I should say the following;

I have, naturally, a bit more meta-knowlegde about the game, and even though Ewan hasn't told me,
I think I figure out what he might be up to with this entire plot... Stay tuned folks, you might get a story-gasm!

I don't have any meta-knowledge, but I do have an Insane Theory (tm) :P

Note to self decide to change the spelllist! So will not be all damage dealing spells in there!

For not metagaming I kept my classic spelllist since Ino would have prepared her spells immediately after getting her spellbook back.
- The first 2 Feats a wizard should take are "point blank shot" and "Precise shot"!
- W H A T ! ? !
- Or they should NEVER memorize rays!

I hope you still prepared for undead as your character did have advanced warning about what we may meet up with tonight . And as far as I know you can change you spells if you had spell slots open and did not casting many spells to begin with for the day . And I'm pretty sure you were still working on the Cloak when your spell book given back to you .

Indeeed I have PMed Ewan and he told me that I can prepare the rest of the spells, but Ino knew nothing about the kidnaps so she had no reason to get spells against undead. My spells are almost all evocation so are ok ;) And soundlance has fort save so is even better against undead.

From utility spells I have: mass fly (which will cast later BTW), knock (which is always useful to avoid traps), see invisibility and teleport.

I think that is good as Glim also has Glitterdust and See Invisibility prepared so as to high light to others who can not see them .

P.S. You might want wait to change your spell list after trading with Glimzine .

I have light too.

Don't know if you can change your spells. If Ewan permits it I'm ok. Ino can talk with Glim and change her spells accordingly.

Here is the spelllist:

O lvl: Light, detect magic, open/close, mage hand, ghost sound, prestdigitation

1 lvl: shield, grease, mage armour, identify, magic missile, expeditious retreat, unseen servant

2nd lvl: resist elements, fox’s cunning, see invisibility, scorching ray, knock, protection from arrows, web

3rd lvl: Haste, fireball, lightingbolt, dispel magic, sound lance

4th lvl: Polymorph, stone skin, dragon breath, improved invisibility

5th: Wall of force, teleport, mass fly

From a PM you just sent me, Van:
Ewan, Ino has prepared some spells from Glim's spellbook. But since is higher level she could prepare more now that she has her spellbook back.

Here are the spells you told me Ino got from Glim:

here are the ones you know, and can thus prepare;

O lvl: Detect magic, flare, light, mage hand, detect poison, dancing lights, resistance, prestidigitation, read magic, ray of frost, open/close, arcane mark, ghost sound, mending.

1 lvl: shield, grease, mage armour, identify, magic missile, expeditious retreat

2nd lvl: resist elements, fox’s cunning, see invisibility

Can we say that she prepared the rest when she got her spellbook back?
So, when exactly did Ino prepare her full list of spells? If she didn't do it immediately upon getting back her spellbook, but did it after returning to the shop with Threan and Glim [after the interview with Vidala Chalanther], then she'd actually have known about the kidnappings, since Threan told her about that.

I'm going to re-read old posts.

Ewan, I have never said when she prepared her spells. But the normal thing was to do it immediately after she got the spellbook back. I play wizards many years and I never let them go out without spells even if they go to an inn to meet an illusionist lol. Also fits in Ino's character do it immediately, because she was very sad with the spellbook damage and that she had to wait till get it back and for sure the first thing to do when get it back is to check it and then prepare spells.

Very well, let us assume that was how it shook out.
