That was never even remotely discussed as far as I know. I've written mine with both case scenarios in mind - they can function both equally well as Core domains or Islands of Terror.

The italian-themed finalists might well form a cluster.

When we created them originally, we thought that so many 'Italian-flavored' domains would have been more suited as a cluster (the fact adding to the Core 3-4 domains with the same culture would have not been liked by basically all the crowd -including us, and no matter which culture- did not escape our mind).

As the selections went on several entries did not pass, so we slightly altered the ones continuing, to make them more suited to border many of the official domains who will be in the Ravenloft Revisited Core.

Just like Yaoi Huntress said, once we know which (and if!) ones will actually become part of the RRC we'll make the landscape and the rest according to the aims of the project.

In the original cluster, however, they were supposed to have a sociopolitical role of cities of italian reinassance (Casteldebole being Florence, Felsinea being Bologna and Oriebo being Venice), with similar CLs , borders and landscape matching the sources of the inspiration, with mistways connecting them to Borca and Invidia.

I hope I answered your question.

Since there hasn't been anything in a while, is it ok if I post my entry? Hope I don't sound impatient.

Well, I'm not in charge so don't take my 'yes' as absolute, but others posted their own entries before when Wolfkook was unable to do so, I see nothing bad with you doing it.

Thanks. Oh man, if you thought Mallochio was bad, I'd hate to see the bundle of joy Sabrina would produce. Let alone the messed-up upbring it would have.

Nice entry, though I have some questions: was Illarian Sabrina's lover before he joined the rebellion?

I think that the 'Hell has no fury like a woman scorned' could be expanded and might work to make Sabrina more 'evil' or 'evil-inclined'.

Breaking a dam killing both the enemies and her former allies -her love included- out of contempt and vengeance ('who cares about the war?!') would be sweet .

Of course it's just a suggestion :).

To answer your questions...

-Illarian only saw Sabrina more as a little sister-type than anything else.

-I had limited space and there was a scenario I thought up where Illarian, his priestess lover (Drusilla) and some other rebellion members try to convince her not to destroy Vespa. He even agrees to give up his position as leader and leave the rebellion, but when Sabrina demanded that he break-up with Drusilla, he couldn't abandon her since she was pregnant with his child. Believing that if Drusilla was only using him to take Illarian away and that if he truely cared, he'd dump the little tramp.

Sabrina also did some pretty rotten things during her time with the king and his enforcers. The Enforcers are pretty much like the mafia and with her powers, they became even more brutal and feared.

-You're right about the dam-breaking was more out of contempt, but I like the idea that it was more of a failed attempt and shatter her faith in the king and believe everyone around her was a horrid sneak who didn't care about her.

Interesting details...Sabrina doesn't look like a femme-fatale, more than an angry woman who'd blow your head with a spell.

She seems far from most chichès, and that is good in my book.

There is 2/3 more to go if I am correct.

I am going to wait a few more days before I post mine.

There a 4 more to go: Reuben Crewsaw, Princess Stella, the Train Master, Vestiver.

Don't know nothin' about what's going on with the Saint-Helena trio.

However, it all hinges on when WolfKook reappears.
