Re: Joël's campaign (Servants of Darkness!)
And voilà sessions 108 and 109 - we are now deep in the Servants of Darkness adventure. Use this link Joël Thanks for posting as always, Joël! Always interesting to see how you modify pre-existing 2e content with all of the knowledge on Ravenloft you've accumulated. The dire goblin bear encounter i...

Re: Joël's campaign (now: Back in Borca! More toxic stuff!)
Yeah let me go find them again, sorry about that Meph! Thanks, unfortunately it still doesn't work it says the site can't be reached. Oh, that's strange. And unfortunate. Here Meph, give me some time tomorrow and I'll see if I can try to figure something out that might be of use to you? I hav...

Re: Barkonomicon - The Complete Tome of Dogs
I thought this looked familiar! I'll be making sure to grab it next time I go on a DMsGuild shopping spree! I added it to one of my wishlists already so it's on my radar. Thanks! I'm looking forward to even more stuff from you guys!

Re: University of Phiraz
So, um. I find myself in an embarrassing position. I only recently discovered that the University of Phiraz does not appear to be canon. It doesn't even appear to be from NeoTiamat's "The Domain of the Endless Word" in QtR21. All I know is that I didn't actually create it for my Pharazia ...

Re: Bogeymen in Ravneloft
And here my (rather simple) thoughts on the Phantom Lover was "the offspring of a bard seducing a dragon and who had issues with how that came about". I definitely didn't know about Liderc or Griselda & the Dragon Troubadour!

Re: In which University did Dr. Mordenheim study?
I believe it mentions a place called Leidenheim, which is shown on the MCS maps. Then again, Mistipedia says it is only a former residence of Mordenheim's, so I might be wrong here.

Re: Thoughts of Darkness
Nice to see a thread on Thoughts of Darkness ! I've ran it before but it's, uhhh, not exactly the most put-together adventure. I operate under 5e and there's a conversion on DMsGuild for that adventure in 5e, but I did not have that resource available to me while I was running ToD. But here's my gen...

Re: The Black Vault Haul II: Necromantic Boogaloo
Jonah's Seacutter Blaustein Jonah Deville didn't think he'd amount to very much. He lived his life contently as a coastal fisherman in Mordent's waters, bringing the daily catch to his little village. If he had a surplus, he would sail north to Mordentshire-by-the-Sea and trade it for the means to ...

Abby's Hairbrush Tepest Once upon a time, in the faraway domain of Tepest, a young little girl named Abby, of Linde, had a hairbrush. She was very proud of her fiery red hair, and refused to share her hairbrush with anyone. Not even her younger sister, Riley, could use her hairbrush, even though th...

Re: First debate of 2025 - AI image or not ?
And there's the idea of "What exactly is the point of what we're doing here?" We make QTR, for free, for the purpose of inspiring people who want to play a game that we love. We're deliberately taking bits and pieces of the setting material, written by human writers who likewise deserve t...

Over 9000 agree points to SpeedWagonDore :gabrielle: Thanks! I always appreciate internet points and internet cookies  If it's AI generated, say it is, maybe watermark it as such. If it was AI and you tweaked it, say so. People can and will pick it up, people will criticise (for better or ...

Additionally, I know that DeviantArt was brought up already, but I have to also say some very positive things about ArtStation (https://www.artstation.com/). If there's any video game or concept art from a film or book or whatever that you thought fits Ravenloft, you can use ArtStation to find thos...

Re: Movies that have that Ravenloft feel
It's probably cheating of me to say this, but Nosferatu by Robert Eggers, in my opinion, definitely should make the list of films already presented here. While some might argue that it's not as good as Robert Eggers's other works, I still had an excellent time seeing it and felt myself like I was in...

Re: First debate of 2025 - AI image or not ?
I fall vaguely on the yes side and play around with AI on and off. However, I also know that 'discussions' about the subject can get very nasty very quickly, so I can see the need to try and walk a tightrope here. These threads can indeed get quite nasty, so I'm appreciative that so far things have...
