Zayawa is a small city at the northern edge of the Gulf of the Heart in Pharazia. Because the Gulf of the Heart is a saltwater body, the city's primary water supply is a fountain in the courtyard of the emira's palace. The people of Zayawa assume that the fountain is fed by a spring, similar to the mighty spring which provides water to Phiraz.[1]
The emira of Zayawa is Kairiya bint Amaani al-Samad.[2]
