Wesle was a member of the Weavers' Guild of Arbora, the husband of Ronae, and the fater of Geryn and Moro. He is also the crafter of the cursed Tapestry of Dark Souls, having purchased it from some Abber Nomads. He became obsessed with it, to the point that he terrorized his family to protect it, indirectly caused the death of Moro, battered Ronae for the first time, and even murdered Geryn after he learned of its theft, all while under the Cloth's influence. When Welse caught up with the thief in Kantora, the old man simply gave it back to him and truly asked him if he wanted it back, even considering all the trauma he had caused his family. Wesle disavowed the possibility he had committed any transgression. He was subsequently absorbed into Tapestry trapped between life and death.[1]
In 735 BC, the Tapestry was finally destroyed, presumably letting all the imprisoned souls finally pass on in peace.[2]
