The Well of Spirits may be found deep within the mountains upon which the High Cliff Fortress was built. The original builders are a mystery. The Well of Spirits sporadically ejects blue stones which resemble uncut sapphires. However, these "spirit stones" draw the attention of serpentine phantasms which do their best to kill anyone who has taken their spirit stones.[1]
In order to hide the Well of Spirits from those who might try to bind the serpentine phantasms with sorcery, the Vigilant have constructed a false Well of Spirits which they will reluctantly show to anyone who comes seeking the true Well of Spirits.[1]
